A tour around the outskirts of Sanxenxo

It has not been given the nickname of the Spanish Caribbean for nothing. Sanxenxo is considered a great touristic treasure of Galicia, not only for its beaches and landscapes but also for its wide variety of entertainment and relaxation.

To make sure you enjoy and have fun in this incomparable place, we propose a tour of six tourist attractions in the outskirts of our hotel:

Outskirts

Sanxenxo

This beautiful and touristic fishing town of 20,000 inhabitants boasts the possession of the best beaches in Galicia. In fact, it currently has the most blue flags in all of Spain.

In its 36 kilometres of coastline, it is worth mentioning several city beaches like Silgar, Caneliñas and Baltar and other less visited, sandy areas like Cabelas, Pasariñas, Lapa, Areas, Major, Nanín, Pragueira, Foxos or Santa Mariña.

Monte Siradella Look-out Point

It is found at the highest point of the peninsula of O Grove and offers magnificent views above the Arousa Ria and the Atlantic Ocean.

From here you can enjoy the unrepeatable and magical sunsets. Also, you will have the Atlantic Islands at your feet and the O Grove Isthmus, about 2 kilometres in length and 500 metres wide.

Thanks to this look-out point you can enjoy the sea and Galicia’s green forests from a bird’s-eye shot.

Very nearby there is another hill worth mentioning and equally beautiful: the Con Da Hedra Look-Out Point.
